Back in July, 10 students from SIIT participated in the international Problem-Based Learning (iPBL) exchange program in collaboration with Osaka Institute of Technology(OIT). This week-long program, themed “Rescue Robot,” was held in Osaka, Japan, from July 14th to 22nd, 2024. The students developed a small-sized rescue robot at SIIT and then ran a test mission with an additional challenge on “How to rescue with kindness” from Prof. Yuki Inoue, the program chairperson. SIIT students demonstrated their high potential to adapt, learn, and work as a team with Japanese students, successfully completing the given mission. Next year, the Japanese team plans to visitand run their robot on our testing ground. We can’t wait for them to come!
